Intuitive image management wherever you expect it. All in one place. In CMS 6, of course.
CMS 6 simplifies digital image management, research and, above all, the use of your content and will form the central media tool in future.
Until now, it was believed that image management and website management had to be kept in separate systems. With the help of CMS 6, you will now find your image management and that of your website combined in a single system. This means that editors can manage images, graphics and media files in one and the same system and, above all, use them directly online in the website.
The special feature of CMS 6 image management is the ability to process formats that cannot be displayed on websites, such as RAW files from digital cameras and working files from image processing programmes.
The unique user interface of the CMS 6 helps you to manage and use a wide range of media types. Data can be manually categorised with keywords and, thanks to artificial intelligence, can also be fully automatically provided with so-called auto-labels. The content, colour and format of each image is automatically recognised and stored as a filter criterion. The CMS 6 saves what can be seen on the image, where it was taken and much more. Of course, you can also organise your content in folders and subfolders.
Image optimisation & compression for faster websites.
For the best possible performance and loading speed of our web projects, we have developed our own software solution for image optimisation and compression. This is operated as an image optimisation server on our systems for our customers and processes all image assets automatically - from lossless compression and intelligent format conversion to responsive resizing. This proprietary approach allows us to retain full control over image quality and file size, enabling us to deliver optimal results without having to rely on external third-party services.
Fast, faster, Quick-Search
Thanks to the new Quick Search function, every CMS 6 user is able to search within seconds for, for example, a picture of ships, a blue sky, people in suits or motifs taken in Hamburg. The automatically recognised keywords, called auto-labels, are diverse and the search options in CMS 6 are almost limitless. If required, RAW formats can also be converted within CMS 6 into web-compatible image formats such as JPEG or PNG and thus integrated into your website.
In addition, all important metadata (EXIF data) is read from each image, if available. These are used on the website for an automated copyright notice with the name of the photographer and an additional appropriate description of the respective image.
Image processing on board!
In addition, images can be cropped with the integrated image editing function, but also visually modified and, above all, optimised. The functions are very intuitive to use. Image editing is just a click away and requires no additional tools.
With comprehensive user management, you can also control exactly which editor has access to which area of the media files. If you would also like to share image management content - including documents - with other people, you can use the share function within CMS 6 to release them accordingly, for a limited time and, if desired, also protected with a password.
Image Protector protects your images
The CMS 6 Image Protector offers you additional protection to prevent or hinder the unwanted duplication of images on your website. The CMS 6 Image Protector prevents actions such as drag-and-drop, right-click copying or tap-and-hold on mobile devices. You also have the option of displaying a copyright triggered by right-clicking. The new function also prevents images with too high a resolution from appearing in Google & Co. image searches.
Auto-labelling with the help of AI
Auto-Labels use artificial intelligence to determine keywords relating to the content of an image and also to the appearance, mood, hair colour and clothing of the people depicted. If a well-known building or work of art can be seen in a photo, the name and location are automatically determined depending on how well known it is. Images can also be easily searched for these keywords using the CMS 6 Quick Search function.
