Major relaunch for social services, Diakonisches Werk Altholstein online with new web design

Mobile-friendly and big-screen ready

Thanks to Responsive Web Design, the digital agency gradwerk developed a brand new website concept for the Diakonisches Werk Altholstein - mobile-friendly and big-screen ready.

The previous website of Diakonisches Werk Altholstein GmbH underwent a comprehensive relaunch. The aim of the new website was to achieve a forward-looking and sustainable presentation of all services and to address the target groups even more clearly and strongly.

The internet agency gradwerk developed a new concept both in terms of content and graphics. The previous website structure has been structured much more clearly and the contents have been revised. Important information is now easier to reach thanks to an easy-to-use navigation.

The design concept was created by the digital agency gradwerk in such a way that it presents itself optimally on mobile devices, but also on particularly large screens, thanks to the so-called bigscreen layout.

Thanks to the use of the CMS 6, gradwerk also developed additional and individual software for the client in addition to the website implementation. This includes an extensively maintainable job vacancy database with an online application function and an appointment calendar module with which seminars and other appointments can be entered into the website by the editors.

While the St. Nicolai Centre for the Elderly in Kiel was previously only ever part of the Diakonie website, a completely independent site was designed and programmed for the Centre for the Elderly in the course of the project implementation.

Both websites were implemented on the basis of the CMS 6 editorial system. CMS 6 is the forward-looking CMS that meets all the needs of a modern website developed for mobile devices.
