Comprehensive GKL partner portal developed
The tool for the daily work of GKL sales partners
With 1,800 pages, the GKL partner portal is the comprehensive solution for the sales exchange with all lottery participants throughout Germany who work with GKL products.
Thanks to the CMS 6 Forms Pro module, some of the currently more than 90 forms can be administered and managed independently.
The GKL partner portal currently consists of 1,800 pages, almost 100 forms and is used by almost 500 users.
With 1,800 pages, the GKL's partner portal is the comprehensive solution for the sales exchange with all lottery participants throughout Germany who work with the GKL's products.
The GKL emerged from more than twenty years of cooperation with the Munich-based SKL and the association with the Hamburg-based NKL. gradwerk has developed an online portal for the GKL's sales partners that serves as an instrument for daily work and also provides useful and interesting information in other ways.
The partner portal of the Gemeinsame Klassenlotterie der Länder, GKL for short, represents the comprehensive extranet of the sales partners throughout Germany. In addition to a lot of information on the product lines of the SKL, NKL and GKL, it also contains a large number of processes represented by forms that can be initiated or triggered within the portal.
Some of the complex forms are implemented independently by the customer via the Forms Pro module provided in CMS 6. Forms can be easily created and published by drag-and-drop in CMS 6. From a technical point of view, the users of CMS 6 can also decide whether the data entered via the portal is later transferred to the data centre in Hamburg via a specially set up VPN tunnel or whether only a printout is provided. In total, almost 90 individual forms have been developed by the webworkers, some of which have calculation and special requests for validation.
A comprehensive rights concept for different access rights of the lottery collection throughout Germany ensures access to data and content even within a single customer access.
The entire GKL partner portal is managed and continuously expanded by editors in Munich and Hamburg.

The GKL Gemeinsame Klassenlotterie der Länder is the state provider of class lotteries and games of chance in Germany. It was founded by state treaty of 15 December 2011 with effect from 1 July 2012 and is supported by the 16 German federal states. The GKL is an institution under public law. It has its headquarters in Hamburg and in Munich, but is solely subject to the gambling supervision of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and - as far as necessary - to Hamburg state law.
