gradwerk develops new web design for the HolidayCheck Award website.
Re-design of the HolidayCheck Award website
The web agency gradwerk has developed and implemented a new design for the successful HolidayCheck Award website. Every year, the peak travel season is just around the corner and users eagerly await the latest hotel recommendations - the "HolidayCheck Award".
This year, the webworkers at gradwerk not only replaced the database, but also completely relaunched the HolidayCheck Award website. In the process
usability was specifically renewed and the site as a whole was adapted to the new design line. The placements of the hotels are now also clearly recognisable as they are visibly numbered. Thanks to so-called lazy loading, visitors no longer have to scroll through the pages individually by clicking or touching; instead, the entire hotel index appears more and more automatically directly on the page when scrolling. This saves time and provides users with a consistent, uninterrupted experience.
Of course, the top addresses in the world were again determined on the basis of almost one million hotel ratings from the previous year. The relaunch was accompanied by high-reach WhatsApp and newsletter campaigns.
In addition to the many improvements in appearance and usability, HolidayCheck AG continues to use the extremely successful CMS 6 software developed by gradwerk - which is now used to manage all online promotions and competitions, and more recently also the HolidayCheck press pages.
CMS 6 is the comprehensive marketing software, packed with innovations such as image management, Quick-Search, Auto-Label, Face-Detection, Dashboard, Smart-Databases, Deep-Learning-Translation, Alexa speech recognition, Commander-Kiosk-Software - and of course "DSGVO-ready"!
