GKL presents new e-learning portal on addiction prevention
Addiction prevention courses in e-learning format
The Joint Class Lottery of the Federal States, known as GKL for short, has once again placed the implementation of this year's addiction prevention course in the hands of the webworkers at gradwerk as part of a tender process.
The e-learning portal, which was conceived and designed from scratch by gradwerk, aims to enable the staff employed for the GKL gambling services to recognise gambling addiction at an early stage and to take appropriate measures to protect the gambling participants.
Within the new portal, participants can register online and take part in extensive training and learning units on the topic of gambling addiction and confirm their knowledge with the multiple-choice test that follows. Based on responsive web design, the portal can also be used on mobile devices. After successful participation, a personalised certificate is generated and made available for download or printing.
The entire administration of the portal, including the questions and answers, but also the recording of participant data, including statistical evaluations, is carried out completely with the new CMS 6. The editors of the GKL thus monitor the entire operation of the e-learning portal. Participants can voluntarily submit a short evaluation at the end of the online training. GKL staff can use these valuable user opinions to optimise their course content for the future.
In addition to the online version, gradwerk has also created an offline version from the same, which is intended to serve companies that do not have a corresponding online connection or would like to run the course without an internet connection.
