Together for Flensburg - The TBZ's new digital platform
Rethinking sustainability and service
Rethinking sustainability and service
With the new website of the Flensburg Technical Operations Centre (TBZ), gradwerk is setting new standards in terms of user-friendliness and technology. The innovative platform bundles centralised information and offers AI-supported functions for CMS editors. Thanks to its sustainable approach, it optimally supports citizens with their concerns and thus creates an efficient interface between the administration and the population.
Direct information on waste bins, charges and collection schedules make everyday organisation easier.
Interactive maps of recycling centres and information on campaigns promote environmentally conscious action.
The website - efficiency meets innovation
The redesigned TBZ Flensburg website presents itself as a pioneering digital service offering for the city's citizens. With a focus on process optimisation and sustainability, the platform combines state-of-the-art technology with intuitively accessible content. It not only offers a digital extension of existing services, but also represents a significant step towards an efficient and environmentally conscious city administration.
One highlight of the website is the clear presentation of all relevant topics relating to waste disposal and recycling. Visitors can find information on waste bin types, fee structures and collection calendars. The interactive nature of the website is particularly evident in the maps, which show recycling centres and disposal points in detail.
The underlying CMS 6 not only offers simple content maintenance, but also enables the use of AI-supported tools. Texts on the content pages are automatically optimised and personalised. This saves time and at the same time ensures the high quality of the published information.
Another highlight of the new website is the comprehensive "Waste ABC". Here, users can find detailed information on all types of waste and instructions on how to dispose of it correctly. Clear maps show the locations of recycling centres and containers for used glass and textiles. In addition, the defect reporter has been integrated so that citizens of Flensburg can quickly and easily point out shortcomings.
The education section also plays an important role on the new website. The TBZ offers a wide range of programmes for children and young people, including
- Spring cleaning campaigns
- TBZ rally and escape room on the subject of waste
- "Expedition Water" in the sewage treatment plant
- Adventure trail in the forest
There is also information on activity areas, fitness trails, near-natural play areas and playgrounds. All these offers are clearly presented on an interactive map that can be maintained in CMS 6.
