Especially in times of a steadily increasing shortage of skilled workers, it is becoming increasingly difficult for companies to find highly qualified employees. The foodRegio e. V., an initiative of North German companies and institutions in the food industry, has taken on the problem and developed a sustainable and unique concept together with the web agency gradwerk.

On a specially programmed job portal, especially member companies of foodRegio e. V. can advertise available jobs. In doing so, a company can independently create job searches via login and link them to advertisements already published on its own website. Alternatively, it is also possible to edit and publish job offers completely on the foodRegio portal - including the corresponding option for online applications. In this way, the participating companies are free to choose the extent to which they use the function and how far they want to map the application process on the foodRegio or their own company website.

The highlight, however, is the actual applicant portal itself, where very good candidates who have previously been authorised with a special link can deposit their application. Depending on the current market situation, foodRegio member companies receive many good to very good applications to their job advertisements. However, as there is usually only one vacancy to be filled, HR managers can invite selected additional top applicants to deposit their profile in the protected member area of the foodRegio applicant database. For this purpose, the selected candidate receives a personal link, which can only be used once, to access the exclusive applicant mask. If another of the currently 68 member companies has a corresponding vacancy, it can access the matching applicant profiles and contact the interested parties. The aim is to keep very good applicants in the foodRegio e. V. circle.

All functions are accessible via the backend system, which was specially developed in CMS 6.
